Day 1
Arrival in Murmansk
Hotel accommodation.
Murmansk is now the largest city in the world above the Arctic Circle (300 thousand inhabitants) and the only northern port that never freezes thanks to the warm Atlantic current Gulf Stream.
Day 2
Breakfast.
Excursion around the city, during which tourists can learn about the history of the city and visit the main attractions, as well as enjoy the magnificent panorama of the city from a bird's eye view.
Visit to the local history museum, the geology department will familiarize you with the unique collection of minerals of the Kola Peninsula.
Day 3
Breakfast.
Departure to the port, where you will have a unique opportunity to board the icebreaker “Lenin” - the first nuclear-powered icebreaker in the world. The icebreaker “Lenin” worked for 30 years from 1959 to 1989 and carried about 3000 ships through the ice, in 1989 it was decommissioned and put to eternal anchorage in Murmansk. There you can see the nuclear reactor (of course, without fuel, ie stay on the icebreaker is absolutely safe).
Day 4
Departure to Lovozero district Sami village (110 km. from Murmansk)
Meal with traditional Sami dishes: “lim” (soup), fried lake fish (or venison) with garnish, drink “pakula” (national Sami herbal tea), pancakes, black tea, Lovozero bread. At the end of the program - on request: photo in national Sami costumes, purchase of souvenirs (amulets made of horn) for an additional fee.
Day 5
Trip to Teriberka, this village is located on the shore of the Barents Sea (125 km from Murmansk), but the road is bad. As you move from Murmansk to Teriberka, the landscape behind the window will rapidly change, tourists will see all the climatic zones of the Kola Peninsula. If at Murmansk it was a forest, then it instantly changed to forest tundra and then to bare tundra, in some places with lakes and rocks. What makes a strong impression is that all this change of landscape took place less than 50 km away.
Return to Murmansk.

Visit to the amusement park “Northern Lights”
Ethnic program in “Northern Lights”
Excursion to the animal park;
Northern multiathlon;
Reindeer sledding;
Lunch + BONUS: a visit to the national plague and a mini-lecture about nationalities!
