Day 1. Torugart – Tash-Rabat
We meet our Kyrgyz guide and transportation at the Torugart border crossing. A journey to Tash-Rabat awaits us — a unique place with a rich history.
Upon arrival, we will have a tour of the ancient caravanserai, which served as a refuge for travelers on the Silk Road. Cozy yurts are waiting for us for comfortable accommodations.
Route: Torugart – Tash-Rabat (100 km).
Day 2. Tash-Rabat – Naryn – Song-Kul Lake
After breakfast in the yurts, we set off for Song-Kul Lake, passing through picturesque Naryn and the Moldo'shuu Pass. The stunning views of the mountainous landscapes will delight us throughout the journey.
On the way, we’ll have an early lunch in Naryn or a picnic with lunch boxes.
Upon arrival at the lake, we will settle into the yurts and take a walk, enjoying the beauty of the alpine lake.
Route: Tash-Rabat – Song-Kul (270 km).
Day 3. Song-Kul – Bishkek
After breakfast, we head to Bishkek, passing through the village of Kochkor. Here, we are in for an exciting show on felt carpet-making (shyrdak).
Afterwards, we will have lunch with a local family, where we can learn more about the culture of the Kyrgyz people.
We then continue our journey to Bishkek, stopping for a tour of the historical Burana Tower.
Day 4. Bishkek – Airport
This day will begin with a city tour of Bishkek. We will visit the Osh Bazaar as well as the city’s central landmarks: the National Philharmonic, Ala-Too Square, the Manas Monument, the National Historical Museum, the White House, and Panfilov Park.
After the tour, it will be time for lunch at a local restaurant.
We will conclude our journey by heading to the airport for the evening flight from Bishkek to Almaty at 19:25. (Departure time may change closer to the travel date)
